Meet the Doctor
Dr. Hazel Gois
Dr. Gois is a licensed naturopathic physician and acupuncturist who has been serving patients in Nevada since 2015. Dr. Gois is trained to diagnose and treat in a general practice setting with conventional and natural therapeutics.
In college, Dr. Gois was considering becoming a pharmaceutical researcher. She wanted to invent a new medication that would cure millions of people. So, she thought it would be a good idea to work at a pharmacy. Instead, she learned about the drawbacks of conventional medicine. She saw the patients that were addicted to pain meds who tried to shuffle pharmacies to get double refills. She saw infants return month after month for antibiotics because they kept getting sick. She saw senior citizens on 10 or more different medications and that this was just "standard of practice".
Dr. Gois realized that she did NOT want to contribute to that broken system. She searched for an alternative and discovered Naturopathic medicine and Chinese medicine. Both systems of medicine that focus on uncovering the root of disease and balancing the body to bring back health.
The best part of this work is when Dr. Gois is able to see patients heal and improve their lives and return with a happy smile, along with lots of referrals!
